The Prince Warriors
(The Prince Warriors, Book 1)

by Priscilla Shirer with Gina Detwiler

The battle is real.
As brothers, Xavier and Evan are used to battling each other. But now they’re discovering that there is a much bigger battle going on all around them. And it’s their turn to fight. The Prince Warriors is the first book in Priscilla Shirer’s epic new series that brings to life the invisible struggle ensuing in the spiritual realm. Xavier, Evan, and their friends have typical lives until they enter a mysterious land called Ahoratos. There they meet their guide, Ruwach, who offers wisdom and direction as the kids’ initial adventure begins—an adventure filled with armor and danger and a very real enemy.
Opening lines:

There was something strange about that pond. Evan knew it from the first time he looked into its murky depths. What was down there? A monster? Like that one in Scotland, what was it called--Lock Ness? Something weird like that. He stood still, shivering a little, waiting for whatever it was to break through the surface and eat him. Alive. One gulp. He hoped it would be one gulp. He couldn't stand the thought of being chewed.

The Prince Warriors and the Unseen Invasion
(The Prince Warriors, Book 2)

by Priscilla Shirer with Gina Detwiler

In this second book in The Prince Warriors trilogy, the Prince Warriors face new challenges on earth and in the unseen realm of Ahoratos. The enemy, angry about his last defeat, is targeting them with weapons and tactics they had never imagined, including the flaming Olethron. The kids must turn to Ruwach and the Source, who can give them more pieces of armor to help them stand strong against this deadly threat.
Opening lines:

A small figure, clothed in deep purple, skimmed silently across the floor of the vast room. Snakes slithered out of his path, thousands of snakes that littered the floor, hissing and rattling their tails. The figure paused before the throne--a hug sculpture made of greenish iron. It had the shape of a crude tree made of entwined human forms, scrawny legs and arms twisted in bizarre contortions. Behind the throne was a wall of fire, the flames illuminating the agonized faces embedded in the sculpture, making them seem alive.

The Prince Warriors and the Swords of Rhema
(The Prince Warriors, Book 3)

by Priscilla Shirer with Gina Detwiler

In this third book of The Prince Warriors trilogy, the Prince Warriors finally receive their last piece of armor—the swords they were promised when they began their adventure in the unseen realm of Ahoratos. And none too soon, for they must face the ultimate enemy, one who is gathering his Forgers and creating unthinkable new evil to stop the Prince Warriors from winning any battle ever again.
Opening lines:

Blood dripped from the edge of the blackened shard of metal. One drop, then another, slow and steady, into a large, crudely made iron chalice. The Chief Weaver stood over the chalice, reaching in and pulling out slender threads of bright red. The Weaver's fingers were long and thin, clever fingers, twisting and forming the threads so quickly no human eye could follow.

But there was no human eye in the room.

The Winter War
(The Prince Warriors, Book 4)

by Priscilla Shirer with Gina Detwiler

Two years ago, the Prince Warriors lost one of their own, but now they must stand firm . . . because death is coming once again. In this sequel to Priscilla Shirer’s best-selling trilogy, the Prince Warriors return to Ahoratos to find it bare and dangerous. The Winter War is upon them.
Opening lines:

Gavreel frowned at the creature that slithered before him, leaving a trail of inky goo on the crystal floor. It was making a terrible mess. He drew his sword; kaleidoscopes of color leapt from the blade and swirled around Gavreel's tall, shining form, making the cowering creature before him recoil as if in pain.
