About the Author
Chawna Schroeder has devoted the last twenty-two years to learning the craft of writing. In addition to the consistent reading of industry magazines and books, she has taken three correspondence courses, attended thirteen national writing conferences, and sought training through critique groups as well as a dozen smaller conferences and workshops.
Chawna is also a member of ACFW and MN-NICE (a local chapter of ACFW), which provide continuing education. The result has been two novels: a coming-of-age fairytale entitled Beast (Fall 2016); and Carol-finalist fantasy The Vault Between Spaces (February 2020).
In addition to her fiction writing, Chawna vends at home-educator conferences, where she promotes a variety of nonfiction resources she has self-published. These resources include a high-school curriculum, Bearing the Sword, which teaches discernment through intensive Bible study and the analysis of media.
